Trusts, Will & Estates: Another very important aspect of life is estate planning and business succession planning. Estate planning involves creating a plan for loved ones to handle medical and financial matters when a client either lacks capacity to do so, or passes away. These are events that can be confusing for your loved one if the planning is very old, incomplete, or just was never done. Basic estate planning involves creating legal documents such as a family trust, will, medical directive, guardianship, and financial powers of attorney. More complex planning can include Charitable Remainder Trust, Irrevocable Life Insurance Trust, or Grantor Trusts. We provide compassionate counseling and advice on all aspects of wills, trusts and estates law bringing peace of mind to you and your family.
Asset Protection and Business Planning: Asset protection and business succession planning is also part of business planning and estate planning. Simple steps include making certain you have adequate forms of insurance or forming a business entity. More complex planning can include multiple integrated business entities or trusts, to grantor and irrevocable trusts.
Bankruptcy: Most of us do not want to think about bankruptcy. However, it can be a tool for recovery, or a resource to remedy an unfortunate circumstance.
